Susana Duran, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Cristal Acosta, LPC-S

Susana Duran (she/her/ella) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to helping individuals rise above depression, anxiety, and negative self-image. With warmth, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others heal, Susana creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, embrace their true selves, and build a more authentic and fulfilling life.
Susana uses a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through these modalities, she helps clients develop effective coping strategies, foster self-awareness, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
She has more than 19 years of experience in education, 8 years as a professional school counselor. Susana has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults. She has a particular passion for supporting women navigating life transitions such as infertility, grief and stress management—helping them find strength, clarity, and self-compassion throughout their journey.
Susana earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Bilingual and Bicultural studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and her graduate degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University–San Antonio.
Susana believes that healing begins with connection, understanding, and hope. She invites anyone ready to begin their healing journey to reach out for a free consultation to see if her services are the right fit. Betty Leday (she/her/ella) pours her heart and soul into helping clients turn life's toughest challenges into opportunities for growth.
With over 30 years of counseling experience in school settings, Betty brings warmth, wisdom, and compassion to every session. She helps clients transform life’s challenges into opportunities for growth, guiding them to embrace change and heal on their own terms.
Betty has supported individuals across school, hospital, and community settings, specializing in women’s issues, family dynamics, and life transitions such as infertility, adoption, divorce, and career stress. Her approach is collaborative and faith-affirming, integrating CBT, parent training, and psychoeducation to promote emotional healing and resilience.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Betty also offers Christian counseling for those seeking to strengthen their faith while finding hope and renewal.Sessions are based on a sliding scale. She also takes Cigna and Aetna.

Elisa Dobler, LCSW-S
Therapist and Clinical Director: Individuals, EMDR, TFCBT. Licensed in TX. Spanish Speaking, LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Elisa Dobler, LCSW-S (she/her/ella) has a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science in Social Work from UTEP. While in the Master of Social Work program, Elisa was awarded the Hogg Bilingual Scholarship for Mental Health and the SAMSHA/HRSA Borderland Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Initiative Grant. She specializes in trauma and has extensive experience with victims of crime of all ages. Currently she is trained in TF-CBT, EMDR, PESI Online Play Therapy among other modalities.
Her clinical work has been with diverse groups of people from various cultural backgrounds, children and adolescents, veterans, LGBTQ2I+ folx, and college aged students.
Previously, Elisa worked in public education as an IB (International Baccalaureate) teacher and English IV teacher from 2006-2013. She speaks three languages and enjoys taking weekend hikes, enjoys learning to play piano and poker and spending time with family. Elisa is currently accepting inquiries for LMSW supervisees.

Belinda Acuña, LPC, NCC, CTP

Belinda Acuña, LPC (she/her/ella) earned a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling degree in 2009 from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is enrolled at Grand Canyon University to pursue a Ph.D. in General Psychology: Integrating Technology, Learning, and Psychology. She met the professional counseling standards established by the Board and has earned recognition as a National Certified Counselor. Ms. Acuña has had experience in investigating the difficulties and practical approaches in treating patients who have co-occurring mental health and drug addiction disorders. As a therapist, she is certified in both Breaking the Chains in Trauma and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). She has worked with addictions, relationships, substance abuse, and motivational interviewing. She also specializes in group therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and couples counseling. She practices with the intent of serving others to assist them in finding their way to a clear path and promote a better understanding of themselves.

Andrea (she/her/ella) is a bilingual therapist serving clients as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) at Clarity El Paso under the supervision of Cristal Martinez Acosta, LPC-S.
A proud fronteriza from El Paso, Andrea is passionate about creating inclusive and affirming spaces where clients can reconnect with themselves and their stories. With over five years of experience in the mental health field, she brings a compassionate and grounded approach shaped by her early work as a case worker supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges.
Andrea has years of experience working with adults, teens, LGBTQ+ individuals, and the Latinx community in outpatient and nonprofit settings. She integrates CBT, DBT, person-centered, and somatic approaches to support mind–body healing.

Cristal Martinez Acosta, LPC-S, LPCC, NCC, CCTP

Cristal Martinez Acosta, LPC-S, NCC, CCTP (she/her/ella) is the CEO and Founder of Clarity El Paso.
Cristal, El Paso born and raised, has extensive expertise in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families who have experienced traumatic events with over 15 years of practice under her belt. She understands that trauma is completely subjective and a highly personal experience with roots in racism, colonization, historical oppression, and intergenerational patterns passed down to us from our families.
As an expert in the organizational and clinical implementation of trauma-informed care, Cristal is certified in EMDR, PCIT, and TFCBT. She earned her BA in Psychology from UTEP and her graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling from New Mexico State University. Cristal is prepared to meet you where you are in your healing journey and make your trauma therapy experience a fully collaborative process from the start.
Cristal is the host and creator of a mental health podcast called “Through the Eyes of a Therapist” and contributes written work as a mental health blogger on various websites. Cristal currently teaches at the University of Texas at El Paso as an adjunct faculty member in the Mental Health Counseling Program.
