Andrea Luna, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Cristal Acosta, LPC-S
Hello!
Therapist: Individuals, groups, Spanish Speaking. Post Graduate Associate.
Andrea (she/her/ella) is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) at Clarity El Paso, supervised by Cristal Martinez Acosta, LPC-S.
A proud fronteriza from El Paso, Andrea creates inclusive, affirming spaces for clients who feel pulled between personal identity and family or cultural expectations. As a Latina therapist and older sister, she understands the weight of generational patterns and cultural pressures, and supports clients in reconnecting with themselves, healing old wounds, and building confidence, joy, and belonging.
With over six years of experience in the mental health field, Andrea brings a compassionate, grounded approach shaped by her early work as a caseworker. She works with adults and teens, including LGBTQ+ individuals and members of the Latinx community. Andrea supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and the emotional impact of chronic illnesses (PCOS, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, etc.)
Andrea uses an eclectic, person-centered approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, somatic, and inner-child modalities to meet each client where they are. She also incorporates optional spiritual practices to support holistic healing and help actively decolonize the therapeutic process. Andrea believes meaningful growth can be gentle, empowering, and even a little fun.
Her practice is culturally responsive and socially conscious, rooted in a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. She provides gender-affirming care and honors each client’s culture, spirituality, and lived experience as essential parts of healing.
Sessions are offered on a sliding scale. Andrea also accepts Cigna, Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
